2010
The issues of climate change are shared. in Scotland. Thanks to AliEnergy, Scottish Natural Heritage, Ardrishaig Community Council, SkyKon, SCIAF, and projects in Barra. Music, dance and drama get the messages to a wide audience. Campbeltown Brass, Troon singers, Mid Argyll Pipe Band, Mid Argyll Gaelic singers, Inverclyde & Barra waulking groups, Ceilidh Bug dancers all get in on the act. The African & Afro-Caribben Network add some spice. The Dalriada Project invite us to their water festival and Mthunzi Culture Group dance for rain.
2011
14 of us visited Kanyama to see how flash floods are affecting vulnerable communities; Kasisi Agricultural College and a local farm to learn about climate change effects on crops, and Macha Works, where solar energy is in the experimental stage to enable e-learning and internet access. And we sang and danced in schools to raise awareness of climate chaos issues
